Kiirtana<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>is the singing of a mantra aloud while ideating on the Supreme Being<\/em>. It inculcates the feeling of bliss and prepares the mind for meditation.<\/span><\/h3>

The mantra used for kiirtan is:\u00a0
<\/span><\/span>B\u00e1b\u00e1 N\u00e1m Kevalam<\/strong>\u00a0
<\/span>B\u00e1b\u00e1<\/em>\u00a0means \u201cmy most beloved One,\u201d\u00a0<\/span>N\u00e1m<\/em>\u00a0means \u201cname of\u201d or \u201cto identify with\u201d, and\u00a0<\/span>Kevalam<\/em>\u00a0means \u201conly\u201d.
